Course Information

Our First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) course provides delegates with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence needed to deal with a wide range of first aid emergencies in the workplace.

This three-day course is designed for people who are responsible for providing first aid in workplaces where a higher level of first aid training is required. It is particularly suitable for businesses with larger teams, higher-risk activities or working environments where more serious injuries may occur.

Delegates will learn how to assess emergency situations, perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), manage serious injuries and respond to a range of medical emergencies, including heart attacks, strokes, seizures and anaphylaxis.

The course combines classroom learning with practical exercises and assessments, helping delegates develop the skills needed to respond quickly and effectively when an incident occurs.

Training also covers the management of life-threatening bleeding, including the use of appropriate first aid equipment and techniques.

Successful completion leads to the nationally recognised Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), which is valid for three years and supports employers in meeting their responsibilities under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Training Delivery

  • Classroom Training: Three days of instructor-led training, including practical exercises and assessments.
