They should be read alongside our general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and any additional course-specific information provided at the time of booking.
Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Course descriptions, durations, learning objectives, assessment requirements and certification arrangements will be communicated before booking.

Courses delivered through live online sessions are not automatically equivalent to practical classroom-based training where physical demonstrations or assessments are required.
4. Course Enquiries and Bookings
Training enquiries and bookings can be made by contacting MMTS directly.
Customers should provide accurate information about their requirements, including:
Course or training programme requested
Preferred dates and location
Number of delegates
Organisation details, where applicable
Relevant experience or entry requirements
Any additional training requirements
A booking is not confirmed until MMTS has accepted it in writing.
Where payment in advance is required, confirmation may also be subject to receipt of the agreed payment.
MMTS reserves the right to decline a booking where suitable instructors, facilities, equipment or resources are unavailable.
5. Course Information and Availability
We aim to ensure that published course information is accurate and up to date.
However, course availability, dates, locations, instructors and delivery arrangements may change.
Where a material change is necessary after a booking has been confirmed, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
We will discuss appropriate alternatives, which may include rescheduling, an alternative course or a refund where applicable.
Minor changes to course content or delivery may be made where necessary to maintain quality, safety or compliance with relevant training standards, provided the essential nature of the course is not materially affected.
6. Course Fees and Payment
Course fees will be confirmed through the relevant quotation, invoice or booking correspondence.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).
VAT will be charged where applicable and identified on the relevant documentation.
MMTS accepts payment by:
Bank transfer (BACS)
Online payment through Stripe
Other methods agreed in writing
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 calendar days of issue.
MMTS may request full or partial payment before confirming certain courses or training arrangements.
Where payment is not received by the agreed deadline, we may contact the customer to resolve the matter and, where lawful and appropriate, postpone or suspend the booking.
7. Customer and Delegate Responsibilities
Customers and delegates are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to MMTS is accurate and complete.
Delegates are expected to:
Arrive or join sessions at the specified time
Attend the required training sessions
Participate appropriately in learning activities
Follow reasonable instructor instructions
Comply with health and safety requirements
Treat instructors and other delegates respectfully
Complete required assessments where applicable
Use training equipment responsibly
Where a course has prerequisites, delegates must meet those requirements before attending.
MMTS may refuse participation or remove a delegate from training where their conduct presents a serious safety risk or substantially disrupts the course.
Any decision regarding fees or refunds will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
8. Attendance and Punctuality
Delegates are expected to attend the full duration of their course unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
Certain courses require a minimum number of contact hours or full attendance to meet certification or awarding body requirements.
Late arrival, early departure or absence may affect a delegate’s eligibility for assessment or certification.
Where possible, MMTS will explain the implications and discuss available options.
Additional training or reassessment may be required where attendance requirements have not been met.
9. Practical Training and Physical Activities
Some MMTS courses involve practical exercises, demonstrations, simulated emergency scenarios or physical activities.
Delegates should inform MMTS of any relevant medical, physical or accessibility requirements that may affect safe participation.
This information should be provided in advance wherever possible so that suitable adjustments can be considered.
MMTS will take reasonable steps to provide a safe learning environment and make reasonable adjustments where required by law.
Delegates must follow safety instructions and use equipment appropriately.
Where an activity presents an unacceptable risk, MMTS may adapt, restrict or stop participation in that activity.
10. Medical Information and Accessibility
MMTS is committed to providing accessible and inclusive training wherever reasonably practicable.
Delegates who require reasonable adjustments or have relevant medical considerations are encouraged to contact us before attending.
We will only request information necessary to understand and support the relevant requirement.
Medical and accessibility information will be handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Where information constitutes special category personal data, additional legal safeguards will apply.
We will discuss reasonable adjustments individually, taking account of safety, course requirements and applicable standards.
11. Training at Customer Premises
Where training is delivered at a customer’s premises or another location arranged by the customer, the customer is responsible for providing a suitable training environment.
Unless otherwise agreed, this may include:
Adequate training space
Suitable lighting, heating and ventilation
Appropriate seating and facilities
Safe access and emergency arrangements
Suitable electrical connections
Relevant site safety information
Access to agreed equipment or resources
Reasonable arrangements for delegates with accessibility needs
MMTS may request information about the venue before training takes place.
Where a venue is unsuitable or presents an unacceptable safety risk, we may request changes or alternative arrangements.
If training cannot proceed safely, cancellation or rescheduling arrangements will depend on the circumstances and the agreed terms.
12. Live Online Training
Where training is delivered through live instructor-led online sessions, delegates are responsible for ensuring that they have suitable equipment and internet access.
This may include:
A reliable internet connection
A compatible computer, tablet or other device
Working audio equipment
A suitable learning environment
Access to the required online meeting platform
Delegates should join sessions promptly and participate in accordance with instructor guidance.
MMTS is not responsible for technical problems caused solely by a delegate’s equipment or internet connection, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist where practicable.
Where a significant technical issue prevents training from being delivered, appropriate alternative arrangements will be discussed.
13. Course Cancellations by Customers
Customers who need to cancel a confirmed training booking should notify MMTS in writing as soon as possible.
The applicable cancellation arrangements will depend on the type of training, the booking agreement, any costs already reasonably incurred and the customer’s statutory rights.
For bespoke or group training, cancellation charges may apply where MMTS has committed instructors, venues, equipment or other resources.
Any cancellation charges will be explained in the booking terms or agreed quotation and must be lawful and reasonable.
Where no specific cancellation schedule has been agreed, MMTS will assess any reasonable costs arising from the cancellation and explain them to the customer.
We will not impose an automatic charge that is disproportionate to the actual loss or costs reasonably incurred.
Consumer Cancellation Rights
Where an individual books training as a consumer at a distance, such as by telephone, email or online, statutory cancellation rights may apply.
In many cases, consumers have a 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is entered into, subject to applicable exceptions.
Where a consumer expressly requests that training begins during the cancellation period, MMTS may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for services already provided, where the legal requirements are met.
Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the right to cancel may be lost if the applicable requirements for express consent and acknowledgement have been satisfied.
Certain bookings may fall within statutory exceptions, depending on the nature of the service and the circumstances.
We will provide applicable cancellation information before a consumer becomes bound by a booking.
14. Rescheduling and Delegate Substitutions
We understand that customers may need to change training dates or delegate arrangements.
Requests to reschedule should be made in writing as early as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, subject to instructor availability, venue arrangements and other commitments.
Additional costs may apply where changes result in reasonable expenses that cannot be recovered.
Where a delegate cannot attend, a suitable replacement may be accepted before the course begins, provided the replacement meets the course requirements.
Substitutions may not be possible after training has commenced or where individual registration, assessment or certification requirements prevent them.
15. Cancellations or Changes by MMTS
Occasionally, MMTS may need to cancel, postpone or reschedule a course.
Reasons may include:
Instructor illness or unavailability
Insufficient enrolment
Venue or equipment issues
Safety concerns
Severe weather
Significant travel disruption
Other circumstances affecting safe or effective delivery
Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice and offer an alternative date or suitable training arrangement.
If MMTS cancels a course and cannot provide an agreed alternative, customers will normally be entitled to a refund of payments made for the undelivered training.
Any additional legal rights will remain unaffected.
We recommend that delegates avoid making non-refundable travel or accommodation arrangements until their course booking has been confirmed.
16. Assessments and Competency
Some courses require delegates to complete written, practical or other assessments.
Assessment requirements will be explained through the relevant course information or by the instructor.
Delegates must demonstrate the required level of knowledge or competence to achieve the relevant qualification or certification.
Attendance alone does not guarantee a pass or certificate where assessment is required.
Where a delegate does not meet the required standard, MMTS will explain the outcome and, where available, provide information about reassessment or further training.
Additional fees may apply for reassessment or further training where these have been explained in advance and are lawful.
17. Certificates and Qualifications
Certificates may be issued following successful completion of the relevant course requirements.
Depending on the course, certification may be provided by MMTS or an appropriate awarding or certification organisation.
Certificates may be issued electronically or in another format specified for the course.
Where applicable, certificates may have an expiry date or recommended renewal period.
Delegates and employers are responsible for ensuring that qualifications remain current where required for their roles.
MMTS cannot guarantee certification where a delegate has not met the necessary attendance, assessment or competency requirements.
18. Refresher Training and Record Keeping
Some qualifications and training programmes require or recommend periodic refresher training.
MMTS may retain relevant training and certification records beyond its standard 12-month general retention period where necessary to:
Verify previous course attendance
Confirm certification details
Support refresher training
Meet awarding body requirements
Fulfil applicable legal or regulatory obligations
Training records will only be retained for as long as there is a justified purpose.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
19. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
Training materials provided by MMTS may include presentations, handouts, manuals, workbooks, digital resources and other educational content.
Unless otherwise stated, intellectual property rights in these materials remain with MMTS or the relevant rights holder.
Materials are supplied for the intended learning purposes of the delegate or customer.
Without appropriate permission, materials must not be:
Reproduced for commercial distribution
Resold or sublicensed
Published online
Shared publicly
Used to deliver competing training courses
Modified and represented as original work
This does not restrict uses permitted by applicable copyright law.
20. Photography and Recording
Photography, audio recording or video recording during training sessions is not permitted without appropriate authorisation from MMTS.
Where MMTS wishes to take photographs or recordings for marketing or promotional purposes, we will provide relevant information and obtain consent where required.
Delegates will not be required to participate in optional promotional photography or recording.
Any personal information collected through recordings will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
21. Health and Safety
MMTS aims to maintain a safe and professional training environment.
Delegates must follow reasonable health and safety instructions provided by instructors or venue personnel.
We may stop or adapt an activity where continuing would present an unacceptable safety risk.
Where a delegate behaves in a manner that seriously threatens safety or prevents training from continuing, we may require them to leave the session.
Any resulting cancellation, refund or other arrangements will be considered in accordance with the circumstances, the relevant agreement and applicable law.
22. Professional Responsibilities and Limitations
MMTS training is designed to develop knowledge, practical skills and professional awareness.
Completion of a course does not automatically authorise a delegate to undertake regulated activities or work outside the scope of their qualifications, competence or professional responsibilities.
Delegates and employers remain responsible for ensuring that training is appropriate for their roles and that relevant workplace procedures and legal requirements are followed.
Training materials and scenarios are provided for educational purposes and do not replace appropriate professional medical advice, clinical judgement or emergency assistance.
23. Liability
MMTS will provide training services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
We are responsible for losses arising from our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill to the extent required by law.
For business customers, any additional liability provisions may be agreed in writing, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We are not responsible for a delegate’s subsequent misuse of training or failure to follow relevant professional standards, except to the extent that MMTS is legally responsible for the resulting loss or harm.
Nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights.
24. Complaints and Feedback
We welcome feedback and aim to provide a high standard of training.
If you are dissatisfied with a course or any aspect of our training services, please contact us at:
Please provide the course name, date and details of your concern where possible.
We will review complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable period.
Where appropriate, we will discuss suitable steps to resolve the issue.
25. Data Protection
MMTS collects and processes personal information for purposes including course administration, attendance records, assessments, certification and customer communication.
Where necessary, we may also collect relevant medical or accessibility information to support safe and inclusive training.
We handle this information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Training & Course Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our training services, business operations or applicable legislation.
The latest version will be published on our website.
Changes will not automatically alter existing bookings unless permitted by the agreed contract and applicable law, or otherwise agreed by the parties.
27. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to customers in other jurisdictions.
For business customers, unless otherwise agreed, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers retain their applicable statutory rights regarding governing law and jurisdiction.
